Wanaparthy, April 2, 2026: Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi on Wednesday instructed all private hospitals, clinics, and scanning centres in the district to operate in compliance with the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, and to prominently display rate charts for patients.
The directive came during a district-level committee meeting at the Collectorate to review applications for new private healthcare facilities. The district administration received applications for three hospitals, three clinics, one diagnostic centre, and four scanning centres.
Under the leadership of Collector Surabhi, the committee approved several proposals, including:

Hospitals: Ravindra Babu Hospital, Haindav Neuro Hospital, Arya Hospital

Clinics: Kiran Gastro Liver Endoscopy Centre Clinic, Dr. Manisha Reddy Poly Clinic, Gayatri Dental Clinic

Diagnostic and Scanning Centres: Approval granted for one diagnostic centre and four scanning centres (two new, two renewals)
Collector Surabhi emphasised that all healthcare facilities must adhere strictly to regulations, submit timely renewal applications, and provide adequate parking to ensure convenience for the public.
He also warned that gender determination tests are strictly prohibited at scanning centres. “Strict action will be taken against violators, and any incidents must be reported immediately,” Surabhi said.
The meeting was attended by District Medical and Health Officer Sainath Reddy, DSP Balaji Naik, Deputy DMHO Srinivasulu, Dr. Babu, RDS President Chinnamma Thomas, and other senior doctors.
