Mumbai Hospital Saves 90-Year-Old Woman After Major Heart Attack

Mumbai, April 2, 2026: A 90-year-old woman in critical condition was saved by doctors at Apex Multi Speciality Hospital, Borivali, following a severe heart attack. The patient was rushed to the hospital with symptoms of an acute inferior wall myocardial infarction, where immediate evaluation revealed a critical arterial blockage.

The cardiology team performed an emergency coronary angioplasty and successfully placed a drug-eluting stent, restoring normal blood flow. The patient was stabilized in the ICU and discharged in a stable condition after full recovery.
